Road Pets™: NASCAR Stars and Their Pets during the
upcoming Speed Street Festival in Charlotte, NC. The book
features first-person stories and intimate photographs of nearly
50 NASCAR celebrities and their pets – including Newman, his

hosting a booth sponsored by Books A Million at the 14th Annual
Food Lion Speed Street from Thursday, May 22 through Saturday,
May 24. A variety of NASCAR Library Collection artists and
authors will be available for autographs and fan interaction.
Joining the NLC will be NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver and
winner of the 2008 Daytona 500 Ryan Newman, NASCAR racing legend

FINISH!

Beach, Fla. (Feb. 17, 2008) – With drafting help from Penske
Racing teammate Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman, driver of the No. 12
Alltel Dodge, took the checkered flag and scored a dramatic
victory in the 50th running of the Daytona 500. Newman and Busch
finished one-two at Daytona International Speedway on Sunday
night.
